About Sioux 3.0
Sioux 3.0 is an innovative fence mounted perimeter intrusion detection system, the result of a research project conducted in collaboration with the Milan Polytechnic, tailored for perimeter fence protection needs, pipelines protection and also for protection of an electronic fence.
The fence detection system comprises a multitude of mems type fence sensors, organised in sub-systems of 7. The sub-systems are made up by 1 master fence sensor and 6 slave sensors: each is individual and provides its own electrical signal on a different channel to its master sensor.
Each master fence sensor contains the physical location of the 7 slave sensors that it collect on the fence detection system, and is therefore able to provide an address for each received signal along the security fence line, digitalized and transmitted to the CU. In this way, the CU can perform the entire analysis of each signal allowing an extreme perimeter fence protection.

Each of these security fence sub-systems is connected, in series with the others, to a central analyser, which will perform analysis of each individual signal generated in the fence detection system and relate it to the others signals collected from sensors of the same or others sub-system.
In this way the security fence system has the capacity to identify the fence zone (up to 20 per analysis unit) where the event has been detected by the fence sensor and the accurate distance in metres.
